Now, that was a great year! I don't remember seeing that particular Bighorn shot before, it's really striking. The leucistic sea turtle is amazing, and your daughter with the sallie is just ridiculous.

Grea job Jeff! So many cool shots - the panamint dens, the gorgeous specks, the mountain kings, the in-situ red fox, the bighorn scenic shot, the copperhead in the hole, etc etc! It was nice to meet you and Matty in the spring. Thanks for sharing!

Great stuff, Jeff. Some incredible shots in there that beg for a story of how they were captured (e.g., red fox). Looks like the family is well and herping, glad to see it.
Re: Many favorites from 2012
Awesome and Congrats.
Good Stuff Jeff
My favorite is Garrett in the little slide with the Milk..

That is because you are a milk-head, and pretty good evidence of it as there are some fairly unique and cool shots in this bunch...My favorite is Garrett in the little slide with the Milk.

Re: Many favorites from 2012
Phenomenal, Jeff! I love the habitat shots, the kids herping, the Lampros, Crotes, Iguana, Ctenosaura, and certainly the Anaxyrus exsul (bad-ass), Hydromantes, and just about everything else.
Was Oaxaca for work or play? Any more shots from down there you'd be willing to share?
Thanks for putting this together!

Re: Many favorites from 2012
Thanks guys: Matt, the fox was plain luck - about time for some family herping this spring?? Brian, I like that one too due to his utter joy (I also like the one of you and Matty). COle, I was in Oaxaca for work so I didn't get a lot of field time in. Not too many other decent shots other than captive turtles. I didn't get shots of the cool mammals I saw (tamandua, jaguarundi, margay) and I visited the largest sea turtle nesting beach in the world. Unfortunately I missed the arribada by 3 weeks and I was 2 weeks early for the leatherbacks!

Re: Many favorites from 2012
Thanks. Yeah, that red fox was amazing and very chill. I pretty much lucked out. I didn't even attempt to roadcruise in oaxaca (this was 2 weeks ago). It was pretty slow. I kind of stumbled on the croc place and grabbed a boat and went. Apparently there are a few different tours to see them, and some of the crocs we saw were giants (13-14')

Re: Many favorites from 2012
Killer post Jeff, as usual. I like the 1st pic of Matty and the big SD. What'd that Sonoran go... 6' 2"? 10 years ago I found a SD in the Cajon that went 6' 6" and 5 yrs ago a SD/GB intergrade that went 6' 4".. That 'speckled' rosy is just NUTS! And as always... love the kid/Fam shots... jim
Re: Many favorites from 2012
