Dugite, Tiger Snake and Blue-Tongued Skink - Perth, WA

Post by Azemiops »

After some much needed rain, we've headed down to a new spot a few times over the last week and managed to find some nice animals.

Juvenile Dugite, Pseudonaja affinis affinis.

Western tiger snake, Notechis scutatus

Finally, a Western blue-tongued skink, Tiliqua occipitalis

And a few habitat shots of the area

It certainly is an unusual name - unfortunately I have no idea of its origin.
