Barred Owl 1989

Post by BillMcGighan »

I very much enjoy this FORUM, but NEVER contribute to it.

Reason - none of my bird photos are worthy!!!! You folks are truly awesome.

That said, winter is when I convert old VHS to digital, so I edited out 1 ½ minutes of a 1989 visit to Everglades National Park.

I took out most sound (distracting background noise) and the sound track is out of sync with the video, but you’ll get the gist as a mostly silent movie!!!!

As a side note, we visited this same tree on Dec 30, 2011, and, though you can’t see them here, there is still a pair of Barred Owls using it as a nest site

I don't know how rare the Barred Owls are but I enjoyed the film. It's always a good day if you get to watch owls.
