Found this old cartoon while rummaging through some boxes in the studio today. It's dated 1989, and I still think it's funny.
Just thought I'd share.

Re: Old cartoon...
Tim,
forgive me for being so dense...I was born this way...I am troubled with it, not sure I "get it". My clues are:
1. the boys are flats fishing, i.e. south Florida or Carribean/Mexico...
2. Ernie has left the vessel...and he is mired in the mud?
3. is getting out of a vessel crazy?
help me out, I may be dense or ignorant or both, help this west coaster out, who happens to be an avid angler and probably enjoys cartoons more than average...
send me a PM if you want to save my dignity...or fire away on the forum, I am too old to care...maybe wait awhile and see how others react...
Vic

Re: Old cartoon...
Sorry Vic, just saw this. The guy running the skiff ran aground and the passenger was thrown from vessel (you can see where he landed) and walked away.

That's clever, I should have gotten it, especially since I saw a guy run a vessel hard aground and pitch his passenger ashore (fortunately not hurt). You are a man of many talents! Vic
