i think i'll go with a gray-band, a banded rock rattler, a central plains milk, an oketee corn, and some of those awesome timber rattlers that appeared on this site before the crash.
by the way, i believe the plain-bellied water snake was left off that "ugly" list.

they are about to do some controlled burns on a natl wildlife refuge near my home. maybe i should walk back and forth on the downwind side . .
