Thanks Gerry. That was a good read. I also looked up the species of fish listed on the UTDWR website. From the limited information there, the primary concern over their impact is UT is that they prey heavily on eggs and fry of both fish and amphibians. Thanks again,

I was able to take a slight detour home last night from the school and saw another 10 gopher snakes. 2 were DORs, 8 live; 7 were neos, 1 sub, and 2 3'+ adults.

Josh you recieved some good looking ribbon snakes. I would guess they are T. s. sauritus but they could be the southern sub as well. Care is identicle to a garter and they usually switch to any convenient prey item with little trouble.
