I like the idea. I have never tried it myself but, know a guy who put a camera at a remote atrox den here in Arkansas. He left it out for a couple of weeks but, didn't get anything. Obviously there are some issues to be worked out before it will be productive.

There are indeed timbers there but, you aren't likely to see them crossing "the road" in fact, I have never seen one on the road. You just have to put in a little time and effort to find them. Don't carry a hook, tongs or bags though. They take collecting (or the appearance of collecting) ...

Last year I was out cruising with my family and we had a truck come up behind us just as I spotted our 3rd timber of the night. Sadly we got to watch the jerk run over it!
