I would love to herp with my dogs but I fear they would be a bit too inquisitive around hots and being on the smaller side, a bite would prove fatal in minutes...

Thanks for the info. I hate the damn cheatgrass. It's everywhere here in Reno, and damn near impossible to go hiking without coming back with loads of hitchhikers in your socks and laces. Even my dogs spread it around...nasty stuff!
