Not sure that I will be there at all, but my bosses, bosses , boss built a cabin there and asked what kind od snakes he may see (he is freaked out by any snake). NO
I used to think it was cool to handle hots. I did some in the past and even kissed one on camera. I realize now that it was all for and due too selfishness on my part and was not in any way in the animals best interest. It's just not worth the risk in my opinion, for me anyway.

I concur with Mike. The only pits I have seen in the Cheney area are 100% desericola, but the ones you find North of the Little Spokane River are definitely much different than the typical deserticola. IDK, maybe the differences are due to environment?

Tech, IMO your interpretation of the law is not accurate. Picking up a snake even for a brief moment is illegal in WA from my understanding of the law. If you think otherwise, please point to verbiage from the State stating otherwise. There will be a Rules/Regs thread by State in the coming months. ...

The only thing you can do in WA is see and photograph without molesting the native wildlife. WA has some of the most restrictive non-game wildlife laws in the country. In fact, I am not aware of any other state that is at par or more restrictive than WA. I remember seeing billboards in Spokane WA wi...

Jonathan,
J. Hakim is you, correct? If so, do you reside within the NW Chapter boundaries? I think according to the bylaws you need to be in order to even be the at large IB rep. If not I can get someone else in the Chapter to do it. I assumed you were CA chapter previously.
