Re: Carpet Python bleeds a bit from mouth when shedding.

It's a great shot though, one couldn't ask for more. It could just be benign and vascular from the strain and activity of jaws as he begins the headpiece. There might be some extra blood activity there from multiple teeth dislodged prematurely from a vigorous feeding sieze. I definitely wouldn't put...

Re: Carpet Python bleeds a bit from mouth when shedding.

I have observed vascular flushing in snakes as they feed. And little micro dots of blood. I've seen it also in snakes when they extrude their cloacal lining, also a very vascular area. It is peculiar to me that it is isolated to that one area. The mouth looks clean though, no ulcers or swelling or s...

What do you mean exactly by bleeds? Is this on the shed, or the mouth of animal? Carpets are intelligent, explorative and assertive seekers of scope. If what you are describing is a presentation of labial renewed open spots, it is a bit irregullar usually these press or rub areas present as very Pin...

A happenstance of environmental favor would be first, second would be further investigation of feminine pheromone, if one animal finished defecating and extruded some glandular material and the other was a male. Its early in the year but a guy could be curious.

I do concur that given our limited substrate materials, which dont receive or enact the pack of natural biome impacts, that the nice sturdiness of the pvc is great substitute for the clean labyrinths of nature.

The way he treated the snake actually does classify as violence.
