I "boa sat" for a teacher and imediately infected my Lampro collection of 20 snakes a few years back with mites. I attempted an Herbal remedy I thought would be a better alternative to the pest strips. I wiped down cages and furnishings with Chrysanthemum tea . I'm no herbalist, but I am a...

After conferring with several attorneys, I would share my life on a desert island with the prettiest Ruber one can behold. For seconds I'd have to flip between the prettiest lep or a speck!

If money is no object, and weight is what you want to avoid, the DP series from Sigma answered my prayers. They have an SLR sized sensor that Gives a unique 3D perspectives in my prints. Some say they are a challenge at first but once I got the hang of it, I retired my 2 Nikon SLRs.

I would'nt worry about it. Those species are not at all uncommon in the SC Mountains. If a poacher can't figure that out, then he will probably get busted in the park just from trial and error! I think the educational value probably outways the risk here with these two specific concerns.

I had that happen on early experiments with water/vermiculite ratios. I'm just wondering if you were a little heavy on the water side? I can have transluscent patchs with even 50/50 ratios. I use a rather dry medium with great results.
