1. Use some sort of image s/w to resize your pics. 72 pixels per inch resolution (higher res is wasted for web publication) and 800 pixels wide is generally optimal. You know that the ppi setting has absolutely no effect on viewing images online, right? If you're changing it to 72 on all your image...

Its about time you learned how to post pics. 1. that's a great shot of the whiptail, how'd you get her to cooperate? Thanks:) No trick there, it was working along a trail like they tend to do and I approached slowly enough that it gave me just a momentary pause before taking cover. Good report Jonathan. One thing about the full moon rising is that the rise also falls (depending on terrain) at just about the end of what is the brief "magic hour" just after dark, so tough to control for that. There've been many moonless night where I had my only snakes between 8:15 and...

I've seen a lot of gaping gator pics but that one is way beyond!!! Great post with lots of interesting stuff. That racer blows me away...fat and long! The garter mix is cool too. Also, really enjoy the concinnus on the log, just like if you walked up on it...which I assume you did?
