Beautiful shots Kyle! I'm a little worried about what the storm did to the herps. Temps were near 80 in BR Friday and never peaked above 35 today. With all the freezing rain last night, I decided to go out and photograph icy aftermath this morning. The trees coated in ice made for a cool and unusual sight for this part of the country. This is my favorite in-situ shot I've taken. I have another taken from the other side that doesn't have the foliage in the way and the face is better lit, but I didn't ever feel it had the character that this shot did. I'll second the recommendation for it. If you were ever on the fence about buying Lightroom, this is a good buy. Great product and I'm not sure how I got along without it!

I've been able to save a lot of shots that would normally have gone to the trash after buying this software.

I would strongly hesitate to buy that lens. I can't fathom how image quality could be good covering that focal range, and costing only $1100. I don't know about that. Colorado is an interesting county. They have a cool mix of critters. I can't think of ever finding a hog out there, but I've found a bunch of other cool stuff (Ringnecks, a Glossy Snake, etc.).. I've heard of both, and I've cruised certain productive areas out there and never found a DOR of either....

I love herping South Texas coast as much as anybody, but we do have the issue that it is all private land and therefore the herping would mostly be trespassing.
