I need to try that! The only inshore sharks we get are duskies an sandbars(not counting the seal eaters), I doubt I could entice one to take a fly. Will be something fun to try in July though!

The thing I miss most about commercial fishing is the birds!! Some fantastic shots there. The school of fish were yellowtail...I woulda been twitching had I been on that trip with no fishing rod :lol:

One of the symbols on the settings knob should be a flower, that is for macro shots. If you are already using that one, please disregard previous sentence. Just keep [email protected]$king with settings till it works for you ;) edit.... I just checked the specs out and your focus range in macro setting is 1/2" to ...

I think forestry management practices probably were the biggest influence to their demise on delmarva. The remaining areas of suitable habitat were probably too small for long term success. There are an abundance of pines in Md. Human interaction occurs on a daily basis. Loblollys, whites, virginia and even pitch pines in the coastal areas. Open your eyes man! :lol:

You have to count the costal grooves, 21 an over = ravine. So nice to see salamanders!

They aren't really very green and they are not that giant. Larger individuals are found more frequently because there are no mammalian predators on the island. Lotsa hype and talk, but no real difference.

Actually, lots of inter specific hybrids are quite fertile. Lampropeltis x pantherophis come to mind quickly. Thamnophis x nerodia are fertile as well.
Blanket assumptions tend to keep one from learning new things. Enjoy your day :D

Thanks Josh!! I would love to return to venomous, state laws say no though. :( I was thinking a snake would be easier to remove and keep warm. In years past I had a woodstove for household heat and this was never an issue.
