anything in the Canon Powerhshot G series. They have good image quality and as far as i can tell indestructible. i use a dslr but my G9 is my back up and ive had it for 5+ years now and beat the hell out of it and it still gets the job done. ive dropped it on rocks, down stairs, in mud, its gotten r...

i would think its most likely a plains spadefoot but ive never seen a shot of one that looks like that. they do usually have some of that blue? purple? around the eye but nothing close to the amount on this one. I would guess leucistic but i'm not the most knowledgable on that subject. cool toad tho...

every salamander alive. They either refuse to sit still or lay flat on the ground for incredibly boring shots. found 40 red eft lifers (yes i know) and it took me 20 minutes with the 40th individual before i got a shot i was happy with as i followed it all over the woods waiting for it to sit still

yeah the 17-40 is a lens im looking at and since i posted this i go the 100mm L and canon extension tube. You'll definitely have to post that shot of the sidewinder licking the glass. so with extension tubes on the 17-40 the max focus distance is on the glass?
