Finding NJ December Sals?

Hey guys,

im going back to nj for break in a few days and since i usually dont go herping in the winter but i found barely anything this year so i want to go looking for sals. what kind of species besides red backs can be found in nj during the winter?

if you wanted to do around $400 you could do one of the canon g series. g12, g11, g15.
canon lph 110 (i think thats the name) is also a good camera for about $200

i'd say see if you can find a canon 40d its an awesome camera and you can get them for relatively cheap now. or if you want to do nikon try the nikon d300

i use Tokina 10-22 canon mount and the canon 100mm macro. i've used the canon 300mm f4 IS too but only when i borrowed it from friends. i still like the 100mm the best but then again i've never used any of those in between zoom lenses

do you mean nikon d3200? i bet you could find a canon 40d which is an awesome camera (if a little old) for cheaper. i saw one yesterday in my local camera store for $400 so ebay probably has them even cheaper. what is your price range?
