Re: Looking for some Florida advice!
Thank you for the reply! I went to a couple springs last time and they were gorgeous! I did manage to find alligators there, and photographed a few underwater. However, for the distance I covered on jetski I didn't find as many as I was hoping. I am trying to find a spot with a larger abundance of g...

Re: anyone been to Fraser Island in Australia?
Sounds like a great trip you had ! Looks like a beautiful place. Is one allowed to roam the island without going on a tour? Or is everything done with a tour? I would love to just rent a 4x4 and camp myself if possible. Do they allow that?

Has anyone here herped around Fraser Island area? Snorkeled? I am headed out there in Feb and would like to hear of anyone's experiences on the island. I would love to go herp it and get in the water. I am an avid free diver! Are sea snakes common there?

Does anyone have any suggestions on herp books for Australia? I will be taking a three long herping trip out there just by myself. I am pretty familiar with the herps already but it will be my first visit and a reference book will be nice to have. Thanks guys!
