Yongnuo flash?

Over Christmas I got the Nikon D3200 kit. It's a good camera but I'm disappointed in its weak pop-up flash. Since I use a flash diffuser, this weak flash does not work as well as I need it to. I'm looking for an external flash that is cheap, but still powerful enough for night photography. Yonguo se...

2014: Illinois, Missouri, and the Smokies

Going into 2014, I didn't really expect to get out in the field very much as it was a very busy year for my family and the last year of me being without a drivers license. That being said, I still had a lot of fun seeing some new herps and meeting new people. I wasn't able to get out in the field as...

I have seen snakes under tin that had been lain out just four days prior. It depends whether or not you want grass and vegetation under your tin. At least here in the midwest, vegetation under your cover can give the snake an easier way to regulate its body temperature. For fossorial snakes, thicker...

Global warming is not the big threat that the media portrays it as, just because the glaciers are melting doesn't mean that the whole earth is. The glaciers are melting because we just had an ice age. The Chytrid fungus harms Amphibians more than anything else.
