Yes, there are some nights in the fall when 100's of tiger salamanders are getting smashed on the road. It is a horrible sight.

I didn't mind the post too badly. Thanks for posting it. The handling of the GBR didn't bother me at all. The garter eating the vole was totally cool, unless you caught the vole and fed it to the snake. Then it is only somewhat cool. Rubber boas are always a good find.

It is interesting that there seems to be more interest in classifying Crotalus than triangulum. You can't just say Lampropeltis triangulum... and leave it like that. It's not right! Which is it? taylori? gentilis? celaenops?

It's hard for me to plan that far in advance, but I think I'll try to make this. Is there any solid documentation of triangulum in the area that anyone knows about? And what would that triangulum be?

I wasn't suggesting anything. Just being funny, so don't be so anxious to be offended. Most Utah herpers don't give out herping info on the web as you probably know. If they give out info, it isn't correct. They won't condescend to answer questions that they themselves only recently asked. They don'...

has proven to be true, even in the U.S. Speculate and guess and contradict all you want.
