I am taking a neotropical herpetology course in Panama this summer and have a long 13 hour layover in houston starting at 430pm on July 12th. Great post and photos. Glad someone else loves anoles that much. They are a great lizards. I have always wanted to go around Miami and look for the introduced species. When my grandparents took the family on cruises I always went out and looked for anoles and geckos.

Great post. I wish I could have made it out in the desert. Love the geckos. We stopped over in Dubai for 14 hours when we went to South Africa in the beginning of February. One of these days we will meet up haha

Nice post I was out in the same area on the same day and found everything as well, along with a leafnose, a shovelnose a glossy, a few sidewinders and a DOR coachwhip.
