My wife had something to do for a few hours in eagle mnt today, so i shot over and did one run down faust road while she was doing her thing.

I found a similar one out on the crawl in San Diego county last month. I've heard they are less common there. It was the first non-banded king I've ever found.

Also, you probably already know this, but this time of year you'll probably want to look under cover objects that get a bit of sun.
Here's an example of the kind of stuff I find them under here in Utah. I imagine Oregon would be a bit less dry.
