Tips/Itinerary for Florida Everglades Trip

I will be making the trip down in my (hopefully) trusty camper van from North Florida; I was hoping for a bit of input as to any general tried-and-true stops along the way. Likew...

Aneides,

After pouring over a few different guides, online databases And having observed other individuals in the field that is what I had tentatively concluded as well. I have a few others I will post with my ID guesses in a few days.

Re: ID for dragons in southern Eyre Peninsula, South Austral

'A Complete Guide to Reptiles of Australia' by Wilson and Swan is a great resource. It looks like you have a choice between C. pictus and fionni - which were already your two rule-ins. The first three sure look like pictus, though.

Looks remarkably similar to Ctenophorus pictus, I will have a peak in a book to double-check.

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it! I took another look at my photo set of 'lizard 1' and it appears that there are no visible blue throat patches on the little bugger which, according to Stebbins, would be a tick in the Graciosus column. :thumb:

Lizard ID, Flagstaff AZ

I am having a hell of a time figuring out the identity of a few lizards found while in Flagstaff, AZ. I think that lizards 1 and 2 are female S. undulatus tristichus (Southern Plateau Lizards), lizards 3 and 4 are male S. u. tristichus, and lizard 5 may be S. graciosus. Your thoughts/input are appre...

I have traveled with my snake hook (non-collapsible) multiple times across the world by placing a golf club cover over the hook and firmly zip-tying it to the external frame of my backpack.
