Victoria glades is about half way between desoto and hilsborough on victoria road across from parking lot, the nature conservancy has the side by the parking area.

You may want to look up in the Washington, and Jefferson county areas .These counties have a good number of glades. Keep in mind that its better to see them in the wild ,and unharmed. I have collected one timber one cottonmouth ,speckled king, ringneck ,and a handful of earth snakes. There was about four inches of snow on the ground. Interesting to note that the kingsnake was in side of a metal pipe about two feet long and about as big around as a golf ball, the pipe was sticking...
