Most of these are pretty laid back. The one yellow and orange banded female is the only angry one. The rest are pretty sweet.

Thanks! I have had good luck getting them going on rodents or quail heads. Had some issues last year but this year the babies are bigger with more attitude and they are eating before their first sheds. :beer:

One thing I forgot to mention with these is that they are one of the fastest eating snakes I have ever seen!! They go at food like the are mad at and chew it down as fast as they can. It is funny to watch every time, I really need to get video of it.

whats the best way to sex them? mine are quite the bitters so I don't truly know if it is a pair or not I don't try to sex them until they are about a year old or more. Night time lows in the high 60's-70's in winter with normal temps in the day and introduce them in the late winter and leave them together for a month or two. Pretty simple. Of course up to size, feed well and give temp support once they are pregnant.

I have found leaving the eggs alone is bad for them. More to the point they seem to need fresh air and it is good to keep on top of any moisture issues. With my Blackheads and Womas I go in and check the eggs at least 3 times a week. Just a quick opening of the egg box and wiping off of any moisture...
