Day one down... Got to hike about an hour and poke around my wife's aunt's house. Lots of fence lizards although I wasn't able to grab any of them, my first alligator lizard and California newt were lifers though! The lizard was wild looking to be sure! Hopefully will come across a couple snakes soon.

I have never had a good time finding milks. Artificial flipped one. Natural flipped two. Road cruised one. Never found on in Wisconsin. I am obviously doing something wrong, likely coupled with bad timing... idk.. anyways very nice finds!

Just got back last night! 14 snake species, all three venomous in one day :D ! We adjusted our strategy after the first day and really did much better than everyone else there we talked to! Will post pictures if my brother can get them on photo-bucket or something! Best trip I've had by far!
