Re: Box Turtles..... To relocate or not to relocate????????
Quick Update: Turns out the land owner/developer wants to put 150 homes on the site and is going through the court system to try and get the zoning fixed in his favor. The current zoning would only allow him to put about 50 homes max on the area. From what I have been told by my relatives as well, t...

Can anyone ID this skull? It was found in an area with some nasty non non-native lizards in S, FL. I was thinking a fish of some sort but someone else said it might be a reptile. The skull is about 8-9in long..???? Thanks Dave S. Bottom http://i154.photobucket.com/albums/s271/coolsalamandra/2DSC_000...

Photo Request....Box Turtles from the area around Eglin AFB
A good friend of mine just moved to Eglin AFB a few weeks back and claims to have seen a completely light tan/yellowish box turtle. He said it was the size of a Gulf Coast but almost patternless with little to no color on it's body. If I’m correct, that is still the range for Gulf Coast Box but was ...

Sean, Finally got in touch with my bud, he didn't take any photos because he is not a fan of snakes that much. I've at least taught him not to kill them. He said if he remembered correctly "It was big wide speckled bands but they could have been blotches, I didn't get that close and only saw it...
Re: See if you can guess where this kingsnake was found
Ok Sean I'll make a guess...... I think it might be from Wakulla County. A friend a few years ago said he saw a very nice Chain Kingsnake there that had very wide speckled bands. He's not a big snake person so who knows what he saw, he was just comparing it to a Chain King I had at the time.

I need a bit of advice. I have a VERY LARGE snapping turtle that has somehow gotten into my parents pond with their Fancy Ducks and Geese.
