She doesn't go near rattlesnakes. If one rattles when I have her with me, we walk away and I say NO. Only gartersnakes are SNAKE to her and I won't tell her anything else is a snake. She does recognize the scents. If I tell her to track a snake , most times when she finds a track, it leads to a hole.

I have the ZS40... not great in low light. I keep the ISO at 200 or lower. Macro is OK, but coming from the DSLR world, I'll only use the small 1/2.3" (6.17 x 4.55 mm) sensor camera in a pinch.
