That spotted morph is common in a certain mountain in Ky I had 2 I collected but unfortunately both where males its apparently a co-Dom trait as well would be neat to see what to bred together would produce.

I'll tell you what I know. Tom Crutchfield posted it on Facebook, then a guy that had seen the snake said it was in fact a cross and the only resultant offspring of the pairing. It has no rattle but a short stubby tail. This is the extant of my knowledge on this specimen.

Sure any time theres been venom injected counts some of the weirdest symptoms I've ever had was from an African giant cranial horned baboon spider. In the course of my 16 years breeding and handling venomous reptiles I've taken 2 bites from A.c. mokasens. One was a neonate and one was from a 30 inch adult male which was a feeding response bite took both fangs in the area between thumb and forefinger with one fang entering a vein (that was fun)....

Crocdoc the image of the snakes with odd facial appendages is amazing ever think of doing the tail end with like Lachesis,Pseudocerastes urarachnoides,( which has the most amazing tail I've seen on a snake.) and of course Crotalus.

The longnose snakes are a good suggestion, as for getting Lyres to feed I lways used organic disolable sutures to graft mice onto lizard parts to switch them over, Its quite easy that way, Other snakes I've already placed orders for or am on waiting lists for are Albino bloods with all the new morph...

What a neat head on that thing, any close ups of the top and side of the head? I've yet to find any aberrant herps you'd think of the thousands of ringnecks I've turned up (Once 21 under one big rock) one would have been oddly patterned or something but alas not yet.
