Started working on records, got the blind snakes vouchered already.

Yah it was awesome the first snake we saw down in that area was a leafnose, then seeing two more after that was icing on the cake.

Great finds Jimi, I drove through that range last fall hoping to find a good place to flip for ringnecks. Found a few places that looked good.

I do for my monitors, can't beat two feet of dirt In a larger enclosure. . . Unless you put more than that. Just a pain to haul in two tons of dirt into the basement using 5 gallon buckets initially, but worth the effort.

It's a different one Brian. I ended up taking my family to Nevada in hopes to find either a live Lyre or Leafnose. It was found after calling it a night due to tired wife and kids, as we were headed back to camp. Wish I could say this was in Utah, but figured my chances of finding one there was slim...

decided with the end of springbreak coming to take the wife and kids south for a few days, we got in late and after setting up camp dragged my 2 year old down to the stream to see what frogs were croaking. North, most of the others we found also were fat from food, hopefully with bullfrog tadpoles. All females best I could tell.

With the warm weather I dragged my family out to the marsh to go look for Valley garters, as I had yet to ever see any. There does not need to be a plentiful amount of lizards for nightsnakes. I have one in my care that would not take anything other then rubber boas for the longest time, it is now on gartersnakes as well, it was collected is an area that does not have a very high concentration of lizards but tons of ...
