Alright no luck
on me personally seeing a caimen lizard, there is photo confirmation and multiple sightings of the caimen lizard or lizard in that area by the state.But after going to the area it is thick bush, a beautiful area but definitely a nightmare if i was hoping to attempt to catch one.

Driving on magdelena rd. when a large lizard enters road from my left, i slowed and it came across road and entered small brush pile and went up palm tree. Well if anything I realize the need for more pics. And really cannot get the best idea of what I have on my iPhone until I blow it up. I would have had better but as I was out of car snapping my initial shots two junkyard hounds came out to the road. So I scooted.

Cruised this am here in Punta Gorda and ten minutes in on a dirt road. saw a couple of racers. If anyone can confirm species. I just feel it was too thick to be a racer. Can do they are all solid than after the vent they are split. I have not counted thanks for the knowledge the biggest is about 2.5 feet .
Heading down to Punta Next week gonna see if I can catch a female for that Veiled as he has been living on the Lanai.

I will accede to superior knowledge the reason I felt Indigo was the movement was not that fast flash of a racer. The area at the time was still very saturated from the tropical storm.i will post what pics I have after I look up the directions.
