Re: Skin problem on ball python help
It looks like the snake is doing a tad better today since he cleaned out the cage he was in, raised the temp and is using the paper towels like you mentioned. He is also giving a betadine bath since I recommended him to do that at first and wants to know if he should use it along with the silver suf...

Skin problem on ball python help
Hello everyone, below is a picture of a ball python which is having a massive problem. The snake is not mine but from a person I know who sent me the picture to see if I know what is wrong and how to help. Honestly, I am stuck since I have never encountered something like this and I am getting more ...

This is all silly...the ruber is the least likely rattlesnake to harm anyone unless they step on it. Then, it would be kinda late to kill it. I'm sad to report that some people do hunt and kill rattlesnake for 'sport'... makes them feel all 'manly' i guess... Also... what with the recent fires in the Cajon and transverse ranges... the point was raised (admittedly by me) that Firefighters routinely kill rattlesnakes while fighting ...

Jeff has it right in my opinion. You have to read the whole section to be able to understand it's context. It is what I was thinking as well with the "sport" word before the take. If someone is actively looking for them I can see the "0" limit with all rules being applied but if...

Rattlesnakes don't belong in parking lots. If this pic was taken even 3-400 yards off of a path near appropriate cover this point would be moot.
