Yesterday was amazing here in ohio. i went out in my woods and flipped a tin roofin peice and found 2 six inch long brownsnakes. i moved on to a few flat rocks beside a trail in the woods and found a 14 inch brown snake. man i love ohio in may lately ive found northern watersnakes,brown snakes,garter snakes, frogs and blue tailed skinks. just yesterday i flipped over a tarp that i put out in the woods and found 8 brownsnakes.

yes i live in southern ohio and have had qute a scare flipping over a rock expecting a snake or frog and seeing a huge leech like uve seen. the leech u saw is usally only found by small sluggish streams. the area u found the leech in was probably preveously wet and then the water dried up and it was...

thats right here in ohio in the past 2 weeks ive seen spotted salamanders,marbled salamanders,garter and brown snakes. I love spring herping. got any tips on finding milksnakes?

cool same for ohio its been in the 70s this past week so saturday i went out in the woods and found 5 green frogs,2 large spotted salamanders,1 brown snake and a 28 inch milksnake what a herping expirence. how can i post my reptile pics on this website

[Ive seen a few in darby creek ohio and in other small streams here in pickaway. their well camaflaughed,very easy to spook,and darn fast. so there hard to locate aand even harder to catch.ohioherpercountryboy.

[Ive took care of grey treefrogs before and have learned to just use all gravle and sand. you could put a small log and twigs. if you need feeding tips, try small crickets and or other soft bodyed insects. febuary 21st 2012.ohioherpercountryboy
