Hey Gila-91, I thought Clelia cleaia hatchlings were all red with a yellow ring behind the head.

This is so cool! My friends and I were just at the Anaheim show and were talking to a guy from Japan who said he went looking for these in caves because he didn't/couldn't find any undisturbed habitat.

I know your pain bud, I've found four subspecies of zonata over the last 25 years and for all but L.z.zonata, I found shed skins first before I found the animal itself. But it always is cool to know you found The right habitat. Good luck.

I remember gila-91's turtle. It was cool watching a freshwater turtle that acted like an ocean turtle.
