Equatorial areas are less seasonal in terms of herps than areas further north or south so for a January trip I would recommend Borneo.

First snake is Coelognathus flavolineatus, I second Paul that number 2 is a type of Attractus - I'm no expert on South American serpents.

Thank you! So far the general consensus is that I should probably do my digs at night, well after dusk, and the wetter it is the more hope I should have. The one you show the venter of after the Enhydris enhydris looks like some kind of Dendrelaphis, probably rictus.
