the pistol was placed on a fender flare of a jeep, then bounced off when we hit pavement.....drove back 30 mins later and there were skid marks on the side of the road....someone roadcruised a really nice weapon...

the fenix is awesome! You could also consider a coast H7 with a focusing beam that burns about 170 lumens, these lights will run about $50 online or sometimes lowes and home depot carry them. hmmm....bairds....here is what works for me.... Zero have graced my headlights or my flashlights after dark, however I have seen many during the daylight hours. Try walking around an hour before dark, or as mentioned earlier, in the morning around 8 to 10 AM. Most herpers in the region are cruising ...

jake, justin, the bracket is a Bogen Manfrotto flash bracket. I stripped all the long telescoping arms off added a small brass fitting and a swivel. For some reason I keep re-building this bracket a few times a year to adjust for each situation......probably 30 dollars in parts for the bracket and y...
