For those of us in the Americas, most Hemidactylus are introduced species, and most are known from Florida [with the Sri Lankan H.parvimaculatus just recorded from New Orleans]. There was a paper a while back which provided a key to Florida species...I'll see if I can track down a link [found it]. ...

If it's a "pure" Hog Island Boa constrictor , then that's what it is. It's a Hog Island Boa constrictor that hasn't been crossed with other subspecies or localities. I guess I'm just very confused as to what you're asking here. Hog Island Boas are an insular form originating from the Cayos...

You knocked it out of the park again, Mike! I'm with you on the Hypsiboas geographicus, though I've never seen on in the flesh. That Bolitoglossa had to have been up there as far as bitchin' finds go, though, along with the Bipes. One hell of a year, man. Nice stuff.
