I agree. the value of repeated observations greatly outweighs the small risk that someone will inadvertently treat multiple observations of the same individual as different individuals. Tracking individuals over time and being able to verify individual ID are advantages of photo vouchers.

Yep, ANSI III vests have enough coverage. I like to use those collapsible crappie poles with just an eye on the end. Tie the noose with suture silk, spider wire, or dental floss. The advantage of the crappie poles is that they are adjustable and looong.
