Incredible photography. very, very nice! what a beautiful bunch of herps! That Tarantula bears a striking resemblance to Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens, the Green Bottel Blue. Not to sure about their range though!

Tom, I've never been to that part of the country. I suggest you find a nice stretch of road & cruise it early morning & in the evenings. Do some active searching during the day, just keep an eye out for lions bud!

Thanks Guys! Ben, M. capensis are primarily snake eaters in the wild yes & as with kingsnakes I believe they are immune to snake venom. They do take mice in captivity though, which leads me to believe the same may also be true for the wild, but they are secretive & rare, so who knows for sur...
