Great post Chris and great photos as usual. Do you happen to have any other shots of the gladiator treefrog? In your shot the frog appears to be lacking Calcars on the hind legs, which is a characteristic of boans (having them that is).

Are you sure you Hypsiboas is calcaratus and not geographicus. Calcaratus typically have defined black and white bars on the their sides flanks and on their inner legs.
