I have seen them attempting same species dining (not in the wild, though). I used to have a breeding pair of 90% yellow cal kings, and sometimes the female wasn't in the mood to breed. She was in the mood to feed!

The one I found didn't even rattle! I always thought that they would rattle to let me know that they were there. Luckily, I wasn't even close to stepping on it. I keep some albino rattlers in my home, and they almost never rattle either.

Ive been thinking of buying a Yamaha WR250R. It's a dirtbike/streetbike (dualsport). It gets 78 mpg, and it can definitely get me to ANY herping spot!

I'm pretty new to herping, and honestly, I get skunked about 90% of the time. But it makes it that much more exciting when you DO see a snake. I saw my first Crotalus ruber wednesday of last week, but I didn't have my camera. I was super happy though!
