I agree with what Bryan said. Timber rattlesnakes in the coastal plain seem to be more opportunistic in selecting hibernacula as opposed to populations in the mountains that exhibit strong fidelity to communal dens. There still seems to be a degree of fidelity in coastal plains populations but a lot...

If you're in the Philadelphia area then it's a northern cricket frog (Acris crepitans). They are actually state endangered in Pennsylvania so that's a nice find.

If anybody in the NJ or PA area is interested, the Delaware Riverkeeper Network is specifically looking for herpers with vernal pool knowledge to be volunteer monitors.
