That Theloderma sure looks like T.licin, might be a new record for Sumatra. Attach is the T licin that I had found in Peninsular Malaysia.

The Ovophis monticola and Blue-tailed five-striped blue-tailed skink are my favourite. I havent seen them yet in Taiwan or anywhere else

Love the spotted keelback, what a beauty!. We found two on the same night a couple of years ago and never seen any since. Very weird.

My family is from Burma. Is there a specific area that you have in mind? I haven’t been back since I was a child, but my parents have pictures of me with tons of frogs, lizards and the few snakes they deemed “ok” for me to catch. Hi Vince, I have never been, but have a grasp of recent literature published on the country. The guide by Leviton et al. "Dangerously Venomous Snakes of Myanmar" is the best field guide for the vipers and elapids despite its age. Link below. https://repository.si.edu/bitstream/handle/1008...

The coloration is slightly different than those from Peninsular Malaysia. I find this specimen more stunningly colored than the ones I've found in Peninsular

Sorry, I am in need of some help/info on herping in Chiangmai and Chiang rai, Thailand.
If you know of any:
a) national parks/ herping spots with high density or at least above average density of herps
b) guides in these two location.
