Re: Lifer King Cobra

Wow Lou! That moment is amazing. I was preying to have that moment in Singapore or Langkawi but it never happened! There are no other snakes so impressive and elegance like the king The guy that interrupted you look like a gardener that all days have to rescue a couple of king cobras of the channel!...

The urban areas of Asia are amazing with tree vipers, cobras and kraits around. I hope to visit Hong Kong or Taiwan one day!

Re: Natrix natrix

In Spain we have Natrix natrix and also Natrix astreptophora. The latter has only collar in juvenile and subadult individuals: https://flic.kr/p/6wrTdz Some adults are really amazing with emerald coloration! (for me the nicest snakes in genus Natrix indeed) https://flic.kr/p/9rW5cQ (sorry I tried bu...

Wow! Lots of interesting species in a short time. The Coleonyx and the Crotalus looks so good! Some lizards look very similar to some African agamids

Hi Scott!

We found also 1 of these amazing yellow cobras in Kalahari in 2014, crossing the road and it was very very fast. They are so cool! The reddish that you found is also nice

Congrats for the findings

Re: AUGUST 2016: TRIP TO AUSTRALIA, SINGAPORE AND MALAYSIA

Hi Lou, Nice to meet you and thanks for your info. Singapore is full of water channels and I hoped that they would be like in Hong Kong with cobras, pit vipers, kraits and pythons everywhere but not. It was hard to find every snake. Specially Naja I think that is extremely common in all the country ...
