Re: Must Read - Liability Waivers
I agree. If said person wants to herp with a NAFHA group, during a NAFHA sponsored/organized outing ,waivers should be a must. I guess you really can't force someone to sign, but why would we want to risk NAFHA bearing any responsibility of bodily injury or death during a "sanctioned" even...

Re: what is the your most strange find
i found an hatchling albino uta when i was about 10.brought it home put it in a shoebox with some dry grass. it died.
i kept it frozen in my parents' freezer for a few years. it eventually got thrown out. i wish i knew then what i know now. on all sorts of levels.

Re: Notes on California Nightsnake Feeding.
i succesfully kept a nightsnake for about a year. had pretty good luck with sideblotched and banded geckos. The venom shows up well on the banded geckos. might be hemotoxic?? looked like the geckos were bruising heavily near the bite wounds. very neat little snakes. thanks for the post, justin

 I had the exact same question a few months ago. After much debate i purchased the non-is lens. I also purchased an external flash, a speedlight 430ex. I'm not real experienced in dslr's, but I'm happy so far. Here are some samples. Still learning the camera. sideblotched http://i628.photobucket...

Re: McDowell Sonoran Conservancy Project
Ena Since this is a preserve and no one is allowed to collect anything, not even a rock, I think it would be ok to post what we saw this weekend. There were no species of concern or anything unusual seen so I think we'll be ok. Plus it may spark some interest in getting people out to help the proje...
