Thanks, the hognose is a gloydi from Missouri. The pricei is from the Huachucas.

Here at Saint Louis we have a decent collection. We have Azemiops, Mangshans, P. jerdoni jerdoni, P. cornutus, Tomistoma schlegelii, a few Cuora species, Chitra chitra, a few Heosemys, Ovophis, etc.

Im assuming your talking about Indiana, but in the off chance you are talking about Illinois, always ask for permission before going on to private proiperty, or potentially private property. They don't play around up there.

Other then traveling south, the only substantial finds ive had in Illinois in December are Eurycea and some Ambystomids and an occasional cottonmouth on freak warmer days. Southern Missouri rivers have an abundance of map turtles that will occasionally bask during winter as well that ive been fortun...

Congrats, work on that post hatch shed and you should be good to go. I do quite a few New Caledonian species as well, and though these guys are common as dirt now, I will always have at least a pair in my collection.

A squirt bottle for diluted bleach(for shoes in between herping locations) would be a great stocking stuffer.
