Re: Salamanders and Newts in North Central CA

Yes, I have found ensatina and long-toes in the Sierras before, they are not so difficult to locate in the right areas. I never really looked into the salamanders of the region until last week and I was surprised to see arboreals in this range, and nearly the whole county. There is a lot of very nic...

Re: Salamanders and Newts in North Central CA

Yeah I would think there are here. I live around 850’, and I’ve been checking creeks for newts around here, but I have yet to see any. Slender salamanders can be pretty abundant in the right habitat but I’ve seen not one under moist logs and rocks. If they are here, they must inhabit a pretty specia...

Hi folks, anyone know of any recent known records of Newts and/or Arboreal Salamanders in Amador County? Anyone ever find any in Amador County? Hey folks, I am curious as to the lowest elevation boas have been found in California, particularly in the Western foothills of the Sierra. Hey, any of you out there ever use a trail camera along board lines and AC where you know you have snakes hanging out? So the money you are making off YouTube comes from ad revenue?

Regarding the music, I have uploaded vids with music and had the videos either removed by YouTube or muted. So maybe this is a new change. Interesting. If i could pull in $4000 a month on YouTube videos I would quite my day job!! LOL

LEOs wouldn't have any way to tell if you have a snake boxed up for keeping or to turn loose later, I think at that point you're just in possession either way so make sure whatever you have is legal.
