Does anyone know where I can find records of rainfall for previous years for California? All I can seem to find is monthly averages and such, but nothing where you can look at the actual records year by year (and preferably county by county, or something similar). I used to herp there all the time when I lived on campus. . . idk if it;s still there but there used to be some boards around there that have produced for me, and a few woodpiles in the back cuts of the arboretum that you can usually find sallies in :) Hope I'm not breaking any location rules... ;)

Yeah no problem, it's a really cool opportunity to save money and recycle. If you are seriously considering it, I would recommend an older model mercedes diesel to convert, it's pretty easy. I would second the dolly idea, or you can even buy one of the little red wagons (some have pretty good sized air-filled tires) and just strap the boards onto that. I would think that it would both handle rougher terrain than the dolly and be able to take a heavier load.
