Recommendations for Snake Cage Sellers
Hello all,
it's been a while since I shopped for a cage. This will be a display enclosure. Who do you all recommend these days for a 9' plus Papuan carpet python? I am thinking the cage should be at least 6' long.
Thanks in advance,
Chris

Thank you so much Kelly. I really value your thoughts at this point, mostly because you were spot on about my plated lizard last year. I haven't heard back from my vet at this point, but I sent him the same photo.

Carpet Python bleeds a bit from mouth when shedding.
Hi all,
is this normal or a sign of a health problem? She seems super healthy otherwise. I have seen the blood the last 2 times she has shed. I have never seen it before.
Thanks in advance,
Chris

Re: Plated lizard with eye problem
Hello again, I am happy to report that the lizard has been very active and hungry over the past year. The UVB light seemed to really have helped stimulate the lizard ,and he recently shed one of the white opacities! The eye still looks cloudy but it seems like he can see a bit with it. Thanks again,...

Ok, thanks much. I currently feed him(?) crickets, mealworms, blueberries, and occasional Vitamin D supplements. Any suggestions as to what to add? This is basically what he has eaten for the past 10 years, but the eye opacities only appeared last year.

Hello, my Sudanese plated lizard has some kind of stuff in its eyes that almost completely covers them. It looks like retained shed to me, but my vet disagreed.
